From customised logistics concept to successful delivery: For a well-known customer in the data technology sector we are realising a complex mechatronic system along the supply chain from purchasing to direct delivery to the final customer.
The special logistical challenge of this project: Each individual system is a unique specimen. Close cooperation, together with fast knowledge transfer, enabled the establishment of production lines. Series production is in the form of build-to-order assembly. A large number of different purchased parts must be procured, stored and managed. This also involves the application of Kanban principles. The transport packaging labelled by the customer guarantees direct delivery to the final customer worldwide.
