From the idea to series production: in close cooperation with one of our customers form the measurement instrumentation sector we have developed a complex mechatronic chip test system.
The customer requirement was the integration of all electronic and mechanical components into a compact measuring system. Technical constraints, e.g. weight and cooling, were also of special importance. Besides this, our customerīs cost ceiling was also a major factor in the material and production targets already specified in the development phase. Joint development work over several time zones via advanced communications media enabled us to adhere to this tight schedule. The close integration of development and production, together with inhouse sample and prototype production, guaranteed successful implementation of the development project. Over 350 of these chip test systems are now in use worldwide.
