From the customer-specific service concept up to a worldwide delivery to our customers. For several years, we have been making the repair of tape backup devices which we did not produce-for one of our customers.
The faithful cooperation with our customer enabled us to develop the repair process even at the time of the product evolution phase. In the course of the repair pricess we take over the complete material purchase, the storage of defective parts, disassembly, repair and asembly as well as the final functional test of the complete devices. Data obtained from the repair process are regularly analysed and reported to our customer. Among others, these data is used for the development of follow-up products. So we have more than 150,000 devices, with a variance of 20 types, being repaired in our repair center and sent to our customerīs worldwide service centers. The parts being exchanged are of course recycled according to the legal regulations and in an eco-friendly manner.
