The German language was also taught at the school, so it was not uncommon to be greeted at the school in German. Upon completion of the final exam, the trainees were qualified as trained technicians and had thus completed the last remaining requirement separating them as semi-skilled assistants from being trained technicians. Since the product palette in our Chinese plant is continuously being expanded, it is very important that in the future we can count on these qualified technicians to possess a wide spectrum of knowledge in the technical fields of electronics and mechanics.
The Zollner company is also an active participant in the Chien-Shiung Institute: Erik Breslein, general manager of Zollner Electronic Co. Ltd. Taicang, is the director of training at the Institute. In addition, Hans-Jürgen Plötz, production manager in Taicang, also served as acting test director both for the intermediate exam and the first mechatronics engineer final exam. |
