40 years Zollner: 3 000 guests were celebrating the lifework of the founder of the company Zollner.

On Thursday the 22nd of September 2005 Zandt was the scene of a magic moment in the regional economic history. 600 guests from all over the world were celebrating the lifework of Manfred Zollner who has built up a company with 5 400 employees within 40 years, starting with a small electric shop. On Friday 2 500 employees gave their "boss" a cheer at the German site.

By upgrading our Zollner-management system we set the scene for new markets.

In addition to our existing certificates, we are certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485 and DIN EN ISO 9100 -which are based on the standards of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000- since 2005.

Already in July 2005 several profit centers passed the certification examination which is the basis for the production of electronic and electromechanic medicine products according to the medicine standard DIN EN ISO 13485.

At the beginning of October 2005, we obtained the certification according to the aviation standard DIN EN ISO 9100. Therewith, advanced customer demands on our quality management system were met.

Among others, aviation puts very high demands on the qualification of the employees, the quality specification, traceability of material, test and process data and the document control. We are now accredited supplier of electronic and electromechanic products and systems for the aerospace industry.
